IMI would like to introduce its new Independent Advisory Committee, or IAC. This body, consisting of a small number of experts with diverse backgrounds, is replacing the former Independent Standards Commission, reflecting IMI’s growth and new needs. It will help to ensure IMI’s independence and international viewpoint in the establishment and maintenance of standards in mediation, worldwide. Read more and view members below:
At this point we would like to thank all members of the Independent Standards Commission, whose work has been invaluable in establishing IMI as a global thought leader, and ensuring the development of mediation standards that are relevant, timely, and independent. Particular thanks must go to the ISC Executive Committee, and especially to the outgoing Co-Chairs, Judith Meyers and Constantin-Adi Gavrila, for their long-standing volunteer commitment to the cause.
All IMI Taskforces continue to function, including the Appraisal Committee that assesses new QAP applications. Website content will be updated over upcoming months to reflect the IAC’s role and how it fits together with IMI’s activities.
We look forward to continuing to engage and re-engage experts in mediation worldwide, and hope you will join us in welcoming members of the new IAC.
