New IMI Certified Mediator Training Program: ADR Hellenic Center

In some fantastic Friday news, ADR Hellenic Center has had their training program approved as an IMI Certified Mediator Training Program. This complements the organisation’s existing IMI Qualifying Assessment Program. ADR Hellenic Center’s CMTP delivers training in Greece and in Cyprus.

IMI Certified Mediator Training Programs, or CMTPs, meet international competency criteria for mediation training excellence. Individuals who complete CMTPs are able to become recognised as ‘IMI Qualified Mediators’. CMTPs can be searched here.

The Alternative Dispute Resolution Hellenic Center, aka ADR Hellenic Center, was established in Thessaloniki – Greece in 2012, on the initiative of a group of experts in the field of justice and mediation.
ADR Hellenic Center’s main areas of intervention have been lobbing and advocacy for establishment of the legal framework for mediation in Greece, establishment of mediation networks in the main cities of Greece, awareness raising in the area of mediation, negotiation, facilitation, reconciliation, restorative justice, peer mediation, etc., tailored to the needs of state institutions, civil society actors, local government and schools, capacity building through organization of training programs in ADR/Mediation at basic and advanced level.
