Using mediation/interest-based negotiation is a more sustainable, efficient, environmentally-friendly way to conduct business. It is generally quicker, cheaper, less time-consuming, less diverting of scarce resources, less labour intensive, and more creative than traditional zero sum, adversarial, win/lose paradigms.
