Promotion conflict transformation through alternative dispute resolution
Abdulrazaq O Hamzat is a transformational peace professional, vibrant young leader, diplomatic human rights advocate, critical policy analyst, liberal author, diligent researcher, social media enthusiast and an initiative creator.
He holds Bachelor and Masters Degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).
He also undergoes training in Conflict Analysis and Interfaith Conflict Resolution from the United States Institute of Peace (USIP).
Abdulrazaq head the Nigerian Mission for International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) as its Nigerian Ambassador between 2011-2016 and in December 2015, he was elevated to double as Under Secretary General for the IHRC before resigning to begin the operation of Foundation for Peace Professionals.
Abdulrazaq is a founding member in several youth led Ngo’s, Columnist for several online newspapers, contributor to several national newspapers and Managing Director at Grand Plan Enterprise, a Business Development firm.
He is currently the Executive Director of Foundation for Peace Professionals.
Abdulrazaq has close to 10 years experience in peace building and alternative dispute resolution.
