Her extensive background also includes significant contributions as a Senior Staffer for the Arbitration Brief and a Legal Intern at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission.

 

Adaeze's professional journey spans multiple continents and roles, from her tenure as a Senior Dispute Resolution Officer at the Abia State MultiDoor Courthouse in Nigeria, to her impactful participation as a moot court judge and arbitration expert in various international forums.

Adaeze Mgbeahuru brings over a decade of expertise in mediation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). As a Senior Dispute Resolution Officer at the Abia State Multi-Door Court House in Nigeria, she managed over 100 cases, including high-profile disputes involving the state and international organizations. Her role involved facilitating mediation and arbitration, drafting settlement agreements, and ensuring compliance with procedural rules.

Adaeze has also made significant contributions to ADR through her writing. She has authored key articles, including “The New Trend of Waiving Confidentiality in Arbitration Proceedings” for the Arbitration Brief and “A Big Win in a Long Case: U.K.'s High Court Overturns an Arbitration Award Valued at $11 Billion” published in the CPR Alternatives Journal.
