She taught, mentored and mediated cases with mediators at the Citizens Mediation Centres of four different States in Nigeria as part of the Monitoring, Evaluation and Mentoring (MEM) Programme for the Citizens Mediation Centre under the Justice for All (J4A) Component Implementation Plan (CIP) 2.3: “Increasing access to mediation and legal services for poor people” Programme. She holds a Masters degree in Law (LL.M) and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) both from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. In the past 10 years, Adeyinka has mediated and gained experience in a wide range of disputes which include general commercial; Financial/Banking; Property; Employment and family disputes. As the Director at the LMDC, she continually researches on the latest global trends in dispute resolution to improve and set standards for the administrative and ADR processes at the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse and the Association of Multi-Door Courthouses of Nigeria. She has advised various organizations and individuals on the use of ADR Clauses and ADR techniques in preventing and resolving disputes. She was recently appointed as the overall Coordinator of the new High Court of Lagos Civil Procedure Rules ADR Track. The ADR Track is a novel initiative whereby all originating summons into the High Court of Lagos will first be subjected to screening for suitability to ADR and then tracked or referred to the appropriate door for resolution. The appropriate door is inclusive of litigation. Through this process which commenced in December 2012, over hundreds of matters have been mediated and settled with satisfactory outcomes. She was a member of the 2 man team that conducted the Case Management and Screening of the 235 cases referred from the High Court of Lagos for suitability for time-bound mediation for the first Lagos Settlement Week in 2009. The LSW 2009 subsequently won the coveted Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) International Award for Significant Achievement in the Field of Dispute Resolution. She has been consistently appointed as lead mediator at the past six Lagos Settlement Weeks (2009 – 2014), mediating Commercial, Workplace and Family disputes. The Settlement Week is now an annual event in the Lagos State Judiciary calendar and will from 2015 be held twice a year on account of its popularity and effectiveness. Though a lawyer by profession, her background was first in the finance industry where she worked in the Credit & Trade Finance Department and in the Registrars Department and hence gained considerable experience in the finance and capital market industry.

By virtue of various positions held at the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse, Adeyinka has developed and enhanced her mediation skills through the mediation of over 70 disputes ranging from commercial, financial, family, land/recovery of possession, employment, community to administration of Estates.
