Experienced mediator with a 20-year track record of resolving a wide variety of disputes including workplace, landlord-tenant, neighbor, parent-teen, and other interpersonal issues. I also mediate civilian-police disputes for the New York City Civilian Complaint Review Board.
Handled hundreds of cases, ranging from coaching one person on handling conflict successfully, to complex multiparty disputes and various settlement ranges.
Clients seek me out for my commitment to the process as well as ability to deliver satisfactory outcomes for the stakeholders.
20+ Years of mediation experience, including Safe Horizon, New York Center for Interpersonal Development, New York City Civilian Complaint Review Board.
I am also a member of several mediation panels, including FINRA and the US Bankruptcy Court (Southern District).
My mediation style is facilitative. I usually begin the mediation by inviting each side to offer their views of what happened. As the mediation progresses, I identify areas of import to each party and work with them to structure a settlement that reflects those issues.
I work with large organizations, working with their middle management and senior leadership to resolve conflicts before they escalate. I also work with individuals who need assistance in effectively resolving conflicts. My services include one-on-one coaching, mediation, as well as med-arb.
