This Feedback Digest is based on 11 feedbacks from 11 mediations, submitted during 2019 – September 2020.
Ms Malkin has consistently been rated as excellent and very good by parties for whom she has acted as mediator of family and workplace disputes. A very high percentage of parties indicated overall satisfaction with the mediation process and a high level of satisfaction with the skills and approach of Ms Malkin. Parties particularly commented on her facilitative style, her strong communication skills, her capacity to build rapport and her ability to work comfortably across a range of nationalities and backgrounds.
Noting Ms Malkin’s organizational skills in preparation, communication and clarifying the mediation process all ranked her highly. Throughout the mediation process, parties remarked on her helpful and effective interventions and her careful management of time giving each party good opportunity to have their say. Many parties commented on her capacity to put them at ease, and make them feel comfortable to approach delicate and emotional concerns in their mediation. Others noted her calm and relaxed approach, and how they trusted her in the process. All remarked upon her neutrality and even handedness between the parties.
Ms Malkin’s feedback consistently speaks to the fact that parties felt helped by her practical approach to helping them articulate their needs and develop better understanding and options for moving forward.
