Field of expertise Business Adviser, Commercial Mediator, Accountant. Background Austin worked as an accountant in professional practice in Dublin from 1976 to 2008. He worked in a wide range of areas including • audit & forensic accounting • business advice & strategic planning • insolvency • tax planning • property consultancy Additionally he has acted as chairman to a number of companies and has particular experience in advising small to medium sized enterprises and family run businesses on strategic planning, business development and succession planning. Mediation Austin is a CEDR accredited mediator (2004) and has experience in a wide range of business disputes. He is a Council member of the Irish Commercial Mediation Association (ICMA). He is committed to the promotion of commercial mediation within the business community in Ireland as a first option in dispute resolution.
