Parties and counsel who have used Bill Hammer would overwhelmingly use his services again and would, without hesitation, recommend him to others. Typical of the comments reflecting Mr. Hammer’s acceptability are: (i) Mr. Hammer was informed, knowledgeable and dedicated to resolving the acrimonious dispute to alleviate the stress and hostility between shareholders. His focus on the welfare of the parties was remarkable given the length of the mediation and the dozens of legal and factual issues which had to be resolved; (ii) Bill Hammer is a professional on every level and enjoys that reputation locally. His career as a trial lawyer skilled in many disciplines contributes to his overall knowledge of how to approach diverse mediation subjects. He utilized his interpersonal skills to communicate with the parties and explain the benefits of mediation as opposed to litigation.
