MEDIATOR: Carol Powell REVIEWER: Ms Anna Quinn AQA@ihug.co.nz Last Update: Wednesday 6th May 2015 This Feedback Digest is based on 15 feedback in 10 mediations, initially submitted on Wednesday 6th May 2015. Carol has been mediating on a weekly basis for more than 15 years and feedback from her clients is consistently positive. Parties to her service have strongly agreed that she communicated with them in ways they could understand; respected them and their culture; that they felt safe and that she was impartial and fair. They ranked her consistently highly in her overall performance as a mediator. Specific comments made about Carol in the role of mediator include: "great understanding of people, great personal skills" "Calm, but relaxed everyone”. “Brought out the anxiety causing issues and discussion ensued" "Carol managed to get issues out in a way that didn't result in angry exchanges. Everyone had their say and she controlled behaviour by modelling good behaviour" "Opened up a line of communication and this was invaluable”.
