Following many years of engaging in mediations professionally and encountering useless mediators (one of whom actually fell asleep in a private session), and taking over the settlement process myself I thought I could do better myself so became accredited. Having now undertaken three mediations myself I love the whole process and feel entirely comfortable in the role. I have received positive feedback including from two large international practices where I conducted a substantial pharma mediation for two partners who flew to London from New York for the mediation exercise.
I am a commercial litigator and head of the firms litigation and dispute resolution department as well as head of the China desk.
I have been a representative solicitor at many mediations over the years and three as a mediator since becoming accredited. I was also fortunate enough to be asked to assist on a large £m multi dispute by one of the CEDR board members. I am an ADR Group mediator and recognised by the London Court of international Arbitration for mediation.

Over 25 years, David has been involved in a wide variety of commercial disputes for a large number of well-known household names, small business, SME’s, entrepreneurs and sole traders.
His approach is very hands on, rolling up his sleeves, focussing on the more difficult areas requiring attention rather than avoiding them and breaking down barriers.
