Feedback digest by Sylvie Adijes, 30 Aug 2018 This Feedback Digest is based on 10 feedback in 20 mediations, initially submitted on Tuesday 28th February 2017. M Jean Marc BRET has consistently been rated at Performance Level 5 by lawyers and parties for whom he has acted as a mediator. All of them would recommend M BRET as a mediator, a fact borne out by the number of parties willing to use him again and to provide a reference to parties considering the engagement of M BRET as a mediator in the future. Lawyers whom it was the first mediation or who were used to it were equally satisfied by M BRET’s prestation. Costs were widely reported as reasonable in the context of the value of the disputes mediated by M Jean Marc BRET and you should notice that he’s been appointed by an institution for part of the mediations which means that he does not control the costs thoroughly, and in general a very high degree of satisfaction was reported (mostly between level 4 and 5). M BRET is seen as a mediator which uses the process at full capacity that is to say he knows how to listen to the parties, let them express the emotions and at the same time, lead them towards their solution. He is described as being a good listener, with a capacity of synthesis and analysis . He creates the right space in order for the parties and the lawyers to understand the real causes of the case. He is described as both human and professional with a very good gift for listening and being empathic. He is said to understand the file swiftly and to use looping to achieve a certain form of quietness. He is described as an “excellent mediator” “very professional”. The reccurent thing is “listening” in almost every comment. No reportable negative comments have arisen.
