Karen is one of the leading Mediators in Ireland, specialising in commercial and workplace mediation drawing on her experinece of being a commercial litigation partner in Ireland's largest law firm for 15 years. This married to her experinece as an executive director and General Counsel in The Irish Times newspaper give Karen a unique set of skills and experience to mediate.
Using her wide ranging experience Karen has designed a number of mediation models to better serve her clients and has tailored approaches in a pragmatic way to make it more likely that her clients can achieve thier desired outcome.Â
Over 60% of Karen's clients come either from personal recommendation or repeat business.
Karen is one of the most experienced Mediators in Ireland in the commercial and workplace field and has over 600 hours of mediation experience.Â
Her practice is mainly workplace and commercial mediation as well as multiparty cases.
Karen has a very flexible style of mediation - she concentrates on the wishes of the parties (i.e. to come to an agreement) and during any mediation will employ all her skills depending on the parties, their chemistry, their issues to assist them to come to an agreement. In workplace disputes there is a greater transformative element than in commercial which would tend to be more evaluative.
