Feedback digest
This Feedback Digest is based on 5 feedbacks in 70 mediations initially submitted in the last 6 months, but comments received covered his work in the last two years. Michael is widely recognised in the London mediation community and several people I regard highly have recommended him. He has shown a constant interest in taking additional mediation courses, and has recently completed the main ADR Group family mediaton course. I have received no negative feedback on Michael at all. Example feedback included - " No one could have done more than [Michael] to encourage and move the parties to a settlement." “ We thought that ( Michael ) did a good job as the mediator- this was not just because we achieved a settlement but because we felt that the change in the other side’s stance over the course of the day to an altogether more reasonable attitude was in large part due to him… One of the attendees was a US lawyer with extensive experience of mediation over 50 years and his comment at the end was that not many mediators could have achieved the result Michael did." Michael's feedback showed he is well liked and has demonstrated an ability to overcome ill will between parties. Michael is working now as a commercial, family and business mediator. He has a strong interest in people and their motivations and an interest in helping and encouraging parties to resolve their disputes and issues. Michael has also shown interest in cross-cultural dispute resolution. Michael has been accredited with a number of providers with whom I have personal experience of as to their standards, giving me further confidence in his ability. Additionally his experience in Intellectual Property provides useful industry knowledge to IP mediations. Michael's specialist areas include; Intellectual Property and Information Technology; media law; contractual disputes; insurance and financial services. I have no hesitation in recommending Michael to IMI. James Tumbridge MCIArb.
