Since 1998 Piet Jeuken is an independent coach, mediator, trainer and consultant in his own company O-LENG ( www.o-leng.nl)
He coaches and trains independent professionals such as CEO’ s of family owned companies, medical doctors and city mayors. He holds university degrees in labour sociology and occupational health and has been and still is professionally active on international, national and local level.
His professional experience is based on a variety of advisory, management and elected positions within the Netherlands trade union movement, Netherlands politics and as a civil servant.
He developed professional relations with the United Nations and its agencies like the ILO, with the European Community and with the International Trade Union Congress- ITUC He was in charge of the international solidarity program of the Netherlands trade union movement ( FNV and its predecessors) with trade unions in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
He has been active in local government as elected city counsellor and civil servant director.
