Mediation Profile

My first brush with mediation came in 2015, as part of my LL.M. programme at Harvard Law School and since then, I have tried to learn more about the field, to develop my repertoire as an all-round ADR lawyer. I have taken courses in mediation, negotiation, collaborative law and have provided negotiation and mediation trainings in law schools in India. After undergoing training as a mediator with the Harvard Mediation Program, I co-mediated several disputes in small claims courts across Boston, as well as a few HPOs (Harassment Prevention Orders). I have also coached teams for mediation and negotiation competitions for the past three years. I have extensive training and experience in the field of dispute resolution--having worked as a dispute resolution lawyer in India, France, and the UK. Becoming a mediator seems to be the next step in my goal of transitioning into the area of conflict resolution, more broadly, in my career.

I am currently an associate with the International Arbitration team of White & Case LLP, London (since 2021), having worked with the same team in their Paris office (from 2017 to 2021). My practice includes commercial, construction, and investment treaty work and I have experience with cases under the ICC, LCIA, ICSID, UNCITRAL, and SIAC rules.  Before my stint at White & Case, I worked as a dispute resolution lawyer with a leading Indian law firm (Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas) in New Delhi, where I advised on high-profile transactions and was involved in a number of international commercial arbitrations.
