Robert K. Amron, JD, MBA, LLM, CPA, brings a unique perspective to the practice of law with his extensive experience as both an attorney and a certified public accountant. After graduating from Rutgers College with a BA in Economics, Mr. Amron received his MBA (Accounting) from the University of Cincinnati, his law degree from the University of Miami and post-doctoral law degree at Temple University - School of Law, Graduate Tax Program where he received an LL.M. (Masters) in Taxation. He continued his professional studies in Alternative Dispute Resolution at La Salle University and has received a Certificate in Mediation from Harvard Law School.

During his career, Mr. Amron was a tax manager for an International Accounting Firm and subsequently a tax associate for one of New Jersey's leading business oriented law firms prior to beginning his own practice as an attorney, mediator and arbitrator.

A frequent university lecturer, Mr. Amron has served as an Adjunct Professor local colleges and was formerly on the faculty of the University of Cincinnati - Graduate School of Business.

He is licensed as an attorney in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida. He currently maintains a private business law transactional practice in Cherry Hill New Jersey, a suburb of Philadelphia, specializing in Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Has served as mediator privately, for the American Arbitration Association and under the New Jersey Superior Court CDR Program in hundreds of contract/commercial, employment, Law Against Discrimination (LAD), Lemon Law, Real Property and Insurance matters. Particular expertise in mediating employment, commercial and real estate/construction industry matters and disputes between owners and contractors. The mediator's role is to manage and facilitate conflict resolution. It is an ever present reality that negotiating parties will manifest differences in views, opinions, personality and interests. The goal of a mediator is to quickly assess these difference, maximize the positive and minimize the negative, and assist and enable the parties in reaching a collaborative solution. In addition, the mediator must work to quickly understand, assess and communicate the underlying facts of the controversy and each party's risk of not finding a solution to the conflict. In order to achieve settlement, the successful mediator will aid conflicting parties to resolution by assisting them search for, analyze and commit to alternative outcomes to the controversy thus defusing the conflict and reaching the goal of the mediation - a positive global result.

Issues mediated include various tax, commercial and contract matters, Law Against Discrimination, harassment and employment issues, breach of contract, construction, leasehold and real estate issues involving owners, tenants, brokers, realtors and contractors. Also various related issues ranging the entire gamut from failure to perform to alleged fraud, delay damages and breach of contract.

Minimum four (4) hours for in-person session. Cancellation policy: Charge for cancellation of a scheduled meeting made less than 48 hours in advance. Travel time charged for out of office sessions beyond 1/2 hour from Cherry Hill, NJ. Travel time billed at 50% of standard rate plus mileage, tolls, parking and direct expenses.
