Mediation is a process that aims towards preserving relationships , be it commercial or personal. It gives me immense pleasure to be a person resolving disputes rather than contesting before Courts. I believe that in most disputes the parties aim to achieve certain interests which may or may not be achieved through litigation but mediation provides a platform where both the parties can achieve those interests and move forward with a continuing relationship.
Being a mediator is not only a matter of profession to me but also a great personal development tool. I believe mediation makes me a better member of society and I can contribute back to the society the most by adopting mediation as a profession.Â
I have not had any post training experience as a mediator.Â
I have received an accreditation as a mediator from Indian Institute of Arbitration and Mediation (IIAM) , Kerala, India which is an affiliated training institute by IMI.
I have also received a certification in International Business Negotiations by IIAM.
I have also been certified in Mediation Advocacy by Standards and Competencies in Mediation Advocacy (SCMA), London.
I have successfully completed 40 hour mediation training at IIAM, Kerala, India.Â
