I have mediated since the late 1990's. I started by mediation practice when I was selected for the pilot program for the United States District Court for New Jersey. Since then, I have been certified by the New Jersey State Courts, have been suggested by multiple insurance carriers for handling of mass claims (such as Hurricane Sandy and attended a select group with Kenneth Feinberg in New York in January 2013), have been privately selected by counsel who have been referred to me by the United States District Court and after passing the Bar Examination in Florida in 2015, became a Certified Circuit Mediator with the Florida State Courts.

I continue to coach teams at Rutgers Law School when they compete in international mediation competitions in Paris (ICC) and Vienna (CDRC).

I have been a certified IMI Mediator since 2009. I was first made aware of the IMI when attending the 2009 ICC mediation competition with my students and have maintained my IMI certification since that time.

My style is to listen intently and to be fair and balanced. I am quite tenacious in leaving no stone unturned until we either reach a resolution or acknowledge that at that particular time all avenues towards conciliation have been exhausted. I also am fairly able at discerning what a party is saying and what the subtext or underlying psychological motivation, albeit unsaid, might be motivating an action or party, which might effectuate a resolution without cost from the adverse party. I am efficient and quickly help the parties come to a resolution. I also will not prolong the mediation if I feel that the particular juncture is not ripe for a resolution and may 'case manage' the litigation until such time as the timing is more opportune towards resolution, at times putting in place an agreed-upon schedule for information exchange prior to the actual in-person mediation.
