I am a civil and commercial mediator.

I have mediated over 300 cases with a settlement rate of over 90%. I have also attended many mediations as a representative and on 3 occasions as a party. This gives me a 360 degree view of what the mediation experience is like for all those involved.

- dual accredited in the UK and the USA through the ADR Group and INADR
- listed in Chambers 2015 Ranking of Mediators as a leading individual 
- undertook specialist training as a workplace and family mediator but do not practice specifically in those fields.
- a Solicitor of the Supreme Court in England and Wales and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. 
- a visiting Lecturer at Kings College London where I teach the mediation module on the Masters in Construction Law.

I left practice as a solicitor in 2011 after 30 years as a commercial litigator in London specialising.

For 20 years I specialised in the Lloyd's insurance market representing syndicates on claims and reinsurance recoveries. I became a non-executive director of a Lloyd's broker specialising in professional indemnity insurance and also of two Lloyd's Managing Agents. Disputes between Shareholders/Directors/Partners/Trustees Employment Art Law Insolvency Contentious Probate Boundary and right of way disputes.

Available on request but the standard rate for an 8 Hour mediation value £250,000- £1m is £2500 plus VAT.
This includes all preparation and travel time within England and Wales.

I attended the MATA Advanced Mediation Retreat, and have undertaken specialist training in workplace and family mediation. 

I am also dual accredited in the USA through INADR.

I am a Visiting Lecturer in Mediation at King's College London on the MSc in Construction Law.
