I am a judicial officer and currently posted as Principal judge, Family Court , Delhi , India . I received 40 hours trainings in the " Concept and Techniques of Mediation " from Institute to Study Development in Legal System ( ISDLS)Â , California in the year 2005. I received " Training of Trainers ( TOT)" from Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution ( CEDR) , UK . I also worked as judge in charge of Delhi Mediation Centre for more than 6 years and as such handled the mediation for a long period . I have conducted mediation in about twelve thousand cases in diverse field.Â
I am in the filed of mediation since 2002 and have written various articles on mediation . I am having vast experience as a mediator , trainer of mediator , trainer of trainers , referral judges and administrator of mediation at institutional level . I have presented papers on issues , challenges and solutions relating to mediation in national and regional seminars . I have attended numbers of international, national , regional conferences in India and abroad . I have been resource person in prestigious institution on the subject of Mediation such as National Judicial Academy, Delhi Dispute Resolution Society , Delhi Legal Services Authority , Delhi Mediation Centers , Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre , Mediation and Conciliation Committee , Supreme Court Of India and various other judicial academies and legal authorities in India. I have conducted mediation in about twelve thousand cases and have settled around 9425 cases . The settled cases include family, matrimonial, commercial , civil and properties , consumer , criminal compoundable cases , environmental issues , labour and industrial , personal injuries cases , insurance, claims , cheque bouncing and recovery disputes . I am having experience of about 11,700 hours in conduction of mediation . I am a trainer for the potential mediators and have already conducted about two hundred 40 hours training , refresher courses , advances courses , orientation programme , sensitization and awareness programme for advocates , judicial officers , litigants , government officers , law students and teachers , law institutes etc. I have conducted the mediation in cases referred by the Honble Supreme Court of India , High Court of Delhi and Delhi District Court of Various Jurisdicti0n. I have also conducted about 20 programmes for trainers ( Training of Trainers for potential trainers including advocates , judicial officers and other . I am also having vast experience as referral judge and have referred hundred of cases out of which most of the cases were settled . I am also having vast experience in conduction of mediation in both pre and post litigation . cases I am also having vast as manager of Institution of Mediation.
I have been using various style of mediation including facilitative and evaluative.
