I believe Mediation is the one of the harmonious and best way to resolve a dispute among the disputing parties as the decisions are made none other but themselves. Mediation has proven to be more effective and time saving in comparison to Arbitration or Adjudication where the losing parties may not be satisfied with the outcome of the judgement by the Arbitrator/Adjudicator and may appeal to a higher court for re-hearing which may take a longer period to resolve.Â
Therefore, I enjoy doing Mediation as it a form of dispute resolution that allows human emotions and personal touch to be incorporated in the process and the satisfaction in resolving the dispute is much more rewarding as it comes from the voluntary agreement to settle between the disputing parties.

I am also an Accredited Mediator and Adjudicator empaneled with the Bar Council Malaysian Mediation Centre (MMC) and Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) as their respective Panelist.
I am also a member with the Malaysian Society of Adjudicator (MSA), Board of Quantity Surveyor (BQSM), Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) and an Associate Candidate with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyor (RICS) UK.Â
I am a practicing Quantity Surveyor with over 10 years of working experience in the construction industry. Over the past decade, I have gained significant experience in many aspects of pre and post contract quantity surveying duties, commercial and contractual administration, including management of various types of construction projects; all thanks to the opportunities that I had while working with the Architectural, Civil Engineering and Quantity Surveying firms as well as with the building contractors and trade specialists.
My specific experience and knowledge would be in the cost control and management, contract management, claim preparation, pre and post contractual matter in the construction, construction technology, procurement and last but not least dispute resolution specializing in arbitration, adjudication and mediation.
